Contract signing ceremony - Package TKT-4.2.1C of Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant Project.
On 25 December 2015, at the head office of Vinh Son Hydropower Joint Stock Company - Song Hinh took place ceremony contract of package TKT-4.2.1C: "Construction of the rest of the project include: surge tank, pressure tunnel, main ventilation tunnel, transformer house, power house, tailrace tunnel, traffic tunnel and distribution station" of Thuong Kon Tum hydropower plant project between Vinh Son - Song Hinh JSC and Song Da 10 JSC. The contract value is nearly 800 billion, with construction time of 28 months.

Thuong Kon Tum hydropower plant project has been started since 09/27/2009. This is a project of underground hydroelectric power plant which has capacity of 220 MW and at first level of hydropower level system of Se San river with total value investment of 5,744 billion. The construction includes storage basin and junction located on Dak Nghe river arm, Sesan river basin, in two communes (Dak Koi - Kon Ray district and Dak Tang - Kong Plong district) of Kon Tum province. The power house is located on Dak Lo river, Dak Tang and Ngoc Tem commune, Kon Plong district, on Tra Khuc river basin in Quang Ngai province. Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower power project will provide average of 1108.19 million KW per year and for agricultural irrigation demand in dry seasons.
Before, in October 2010, the owner Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company had signed contract of package TKT-4.2.1 with Joint venture between Hoa Dong Institute of China Hydropower Group and China railway department No. 18. Ltd. However, in July 2014, Chinese contractors stopped building and withdrawn.
